Kara + Mike

From the time we met on skype, I knew that this would be a wedding of epic proportions. We figured out Mike is very distantly related to me, which makes these guys that much more awesome :) Fast forward to their wedding morning last weekend when Mad and I drove out to scope the locations Kara had requested, and my eyeballs were wide twitching with excitement while my brain was already taking a bajillion beautiful photos of these two, and they didn't even know it. We made a little loop, starting off at the Ramada in New Hope where they got ready and had a first look at each other, then took a quick stroll through the beautiful Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve. After that we stopped in downtown New Hope, PA and dodged the HOT sun as much as we could before making it to their wedding venue at Prallsville Mills right on the Delaware River. What an awesome venue, I highly recommend this one!! They had some beautifully hand crafted details, an intimate ceremony in front of a barn (with a few unwelcomed guests, aka swarms of gnats!), and a WILD dance party in the heat. This was one of our favorite weddings to date, thanks to Kara and Mike for being such happy, kind, generous and amazing people! Here's a few moments we caught throughout the day...
